I remember the exact moment that the melody for "La Duh Dumb" popped in my head. I was working at a restaurant in Long Branch, NJ. I was in an upstairs dining hall by myself, smoking a cigarette while staring out of a window looking over a golf course and thinking about just how fucking stupid the world is--or more specifically, the restaurant business. I starting "composing" the "lyrics" in my head so I wouldn't forget it before I had the chance to record it the next morning. The next morning, I woke up with the flu. I recorded the song anyway and did my best to sing it. As you can probably tell, it's a little flu-ish.
